There is a Yoga for Pregnancy class on Tuesday evenings at the Moose Hall, behind Better Bodies gym, off Portishead High Street.
It starts at 7.00pm and lasts for an hour and a half.
The lesson usually begins with an introductory chat, as women like to meet one another, share experiences and discuss pregnancy issues.
The teacher, Suzi Griffin has active birth training as well as pregnancy yoga training, so pregnancy and birth.
Then the group practice some very safe movement and stretching, together with simple focused breathing.
The yoga is suitable for all, and yoga experience is not necessary at all.
The postures help develop strength, suppleness and posture that supports the growing baby.
The class ends with some relaxation and breathing techniques that will help take women through pregnancy with a sense of calmness.
