Reader Review
By Debbie MacAulay
Thomas and I are big fans of Sing and Sign! We started attending classes when he was 9 months as I had read about the benefits of singing with babies. Thomas loved the songs and got very excited when I used to sing them. I consistently used the signs with him then when he was about 11 months he did his first signs (fish and star). At 13 months Thomas did the sign for pain and pointed to his ear. I decided take him to the doctors just to check he was ok. To my surprise the doctor checked his ears and told me that he had a nasty ear infection! Thomas is now a chatty four year old who still remembers the lovely Sing and Sign songs. We still regularly meet with the good friends we made at the classes. I would definitely recommend Sing and Sign.

My little boy loves Mini Movers - he's been going since he turned one, and now he is 21 months.Emma who runs it is also happy for my newborn baby to come along too - which is great for me as sometimes it is hard to find baby groups that are suitable (or you are allowed) to take both too. Great mix of songs with props to capture his attention, dancing to well known songs with actions, & oportunities to play with different toys - pom poms, hula hoops etc. Each session has a structure, but is also informal so he can run about in a safe environment if he doesn't want to join in with everything. Session includes a drink & buscuit & a chance then during the break for the mum's (dad's or grandparents often there too) to have a chat before the second half. Highly recommend!

Reader Review
By Sarah Haynes
I love sing and sign classes. I did try a couple of other music classes, but sign and sign is by far the best. The songs are lovely mix of the familiar and new ones. The highlight for all is when Jessie Cat comes out! I have also purchased the cd for the car as we love the song. Lisa's enthusiasm shows all the way through the class. My son still loves the songs, and we still use many of the signs now that he is 4 years old, just to enhance our commination, sorry , where , please and thank you are favourites. I was amazed to see that they even use the signing in his school, for the songs in their Nativity and even in the classroom; we were fluent doing the alphabet song. I couldn’t recommend these classes highly enough!!

Reader Review
By Anna Steven
Budding little Picassos should go along to Creative Panda, Weston's newest and most innovative baby and toddler group. My 13 month old had such fun sticking and gluing and making shiny, pretty things. She loved the singing at the beginning and end of the session, as well as having the chance to interact with lots of colourful materials and textures. I loved it because I didn't have to clear up afterwards! It was great to meet like-minded mums and dads over a coffee and a biscuit (or two). All the children were so pleased to have something unique and vibrant which they had made themselves and could take home. The organisers were so friendly and welcoming; the atmosphere relaxed and upbeat. The time flew by all too quickly and we can’t wait to go again. A brilliant new concept that’s destined for lots of success.

We started Sing and Sign classes when Madison was 13 months. She was very quiet and showed no interest in talking, her older sister, Imogen, did all of the talking for her. Within 2 weeks of attending classes, Madison was signing to us and then when she did start talking within weeks she was talking in full sentences!! Imogen came to the classes with us, as I wanted the girls to sign to each other. Both loved the classes! Watching them sign to each other was really lovely. We could understand what Madison wanted without her getting frustrated, which was amazing!

Lisa is really lovely and so brilliant with the babies. The signs are taught using familiar songs and some new ones; it's really easy to pick up. The babies love the music and the props that are used. The classes are really informal so you can change or feed your baby when you need to and the babies don't have to sit still!
I love Sing and Sign so much that I started teaching classes to help other parents start signing with their children.
I'm about to start attending classes with my baby son, Declan, and I know he'll love it too! I would recommend Sing and Sign to everyone, it definitely benefitted Madison and I know that it will do the same for Declan as well as being really good fun and a lovely way to meet other mums!
