Bristol Zoo’s family and animal friendly fireworks are back

Tickets are now on sale for Bristol Zoo’s animal and toddler friendly fireworks.

For the last eight years Bristol Zoo Gardens has been displaying their low-noise fireworks, which are specially designed to avoid the loud bangs that might frighten your little ones or their animals.

‘Family Friendly Fireworks’ will be held on three evenings. On the 5th, 6th and 7th November, guests will be entertained by a display of low-noise fireworks, sponsored by Goodman and Lilley, that will light up the night sky.

Bristol Zoo’s head of guest services, Chris Page, said: “Come and be wowed by our fireworks, showing the colours of the rainbow over the Zoo, without the loud noises that might disturb our animals and young children.”

He added: “If the fireworks weren’t enough, we are also welcoming back our compere to the stage who will start the evening off with musical fun and games for all ages.  Family Friendly Fireworks evenings are great fun and entertainment for all

Hot drinks and food will also be available to buy during the evening, including hotdogs, vegetarian burgers, soup, hot & cold drinks, cakes and other treats. Guests can also help light up the night sky with glow sticks and other child friendly toys.

To ensure your safety and maximum enjoyment, ticket sales are limited so advance booking is essential.

Doors open for the Zoo’s Family Friendly Fireworks Nights at 5pm, with the display at 5.45pm. Tickets cost £8 for adults and £6 for children, discounts are available for Zoo members.
